Our story...
Hello, I’m Joanne Armour, the owner of Kintyre Apartments.

Originally from Berwick-upon-Tweed, I moved to Scotland over 20 years ago. Having spent the majority of my career working in hotels, I took the leap into self-catering in 2015 — and I’ve loved every minute of it.
I have a real love for both Ayr and Berwick-upon-Tweed, although I often wish they were just a little closer to one another! Both make wonderful bases , whether you’re discovering the beautiful coastline and countryside of Ayrshire or the history and hidden gems of Northumberland.

I’ve designed the apartments to feel homely, comfortable and welcoming, and I hope you’ll feel completely at ease during your stay. Your experience really matters to us, so if there’s anything we could do to make your stay even better, we’d genuinely love to hear from you. We’re always looking for ways to improve and provide the best experience possible for our guests.
